I don't talk enough about these 2 sweet boys that I have. Jake is my most sensitive child. At times it's very frusterating, but other times it's awesome. Jake seems to be so senstitive to the spirit as well, which I love. Noah, what a wild child. He used to be so quiet and kept to himself, NOT ANYMORE!. He definetely is making it known he's around. He is such an innocent little boy and I love that. This week they lost a Papa they were very close to and both boys really let everything out. Yesterday Noah was so worried, he told us that Papa can't breath with that thing closed on him. We explained that Papa's spirit is gone, and he doesn't need to breath. Jake just keeps saying he's confused, but that he was ok. I think I have 2 of the cutest boys in the world! I love you Jakey and No-No's!

today has been another one of those days that I don't understand things. Almost 2 years ago I lost both my grandpas, two incredible men. This morning we got a call that adams dad passed away. David pennington was another very important man in my life. He treated me and loved me like his own. He told me many times I was his 5th child. I don't understand Heavenly Father all he time, but I trust that he knows what he's doing. My only request from all of you is please pray for adam, he was the closest to his dad and is taking this very hard.

flagstaff snow trip

this weekend was crazy busy, but so much fun. Adam got an invite to go to the sand dunes with a couple friends, so he left thursday. The kids and I decided we wanted to go to flagstaff for the day. So, we talked to grandma vallerie to see if she wanted to go, and of course she wanted to go. At 430 sat morning we loaded up and headed to flagstaff. It was so much fun and not as cold as we thought. We took the kids to crawley point, which was just a big hill, but so fun. There is no fee for crawley point, so if you want something fun and cheap that's the way to go.

Sam has had a fear of heights her whole little life. So, today I took her and Jake to rock climb. The goal was to go midway up, to my surprise she went to the top! Maybe having a guarantee that you won't fall helped out a little!

Happy Halloween! We didn't do the traditional trick_o_treating this year. Instead our ward had a trunk or treat party. We had dinner, played games, did a costume party and a litle trick or treating. The kids had so much fun. Jake had the most fun, he said he didn't have time for a picture! Hope you all had a fun, safe night!

so, I wasn't going to blog about this, but I decided to last minute. A couple weeks ago m dad went in for some tests. He initially thought I was a simple fix for some pain he had. Come to find out he has cancer. It has started in his cokon and has now spread to his lymphnods. On mon morning he is being admitted to desert sam for radiation and chemo. Please keep him in your prayers, from what I understand once it's in your lymphnods it doesn't really get better. He probably will be sick so please just include him in your prayers. Love you all thank you!

tonite was sam's faith in God recognition night. They had a table laid out for all their talents that they worked on throughout the year. Sam had her necklaces, of course, but something else, she read the entire Book of Mormon this summer. I was so proud of her, I'm 30 and have yet to do that. We as parents got up and spoke on why our child is a star, I wanted to share with you why I know she is. Sam has faced so many challenges in her young life that most adults don't face. She comes from a home where there are 2 strong religious beliefs and has such a strong testimony, but als a love and a respect for religion. She was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in dec and has only cried twice about it ( I would cry every day!), she has faced ridicule at school for being very smart, and yet never talks I'll about the ones teasing her. She has such a strong testimony of our Savior and the value of family. I love you sam and am so grateful for all you do.

I've been teaching for town of gilbert and one of the classes I teach is a cupcake class. The ages are from 3 to 5 and the goal is to make a basic cupcake. Well, my classes have wanted to tr new things so I had my kids try them out. They made monsters, corn on the cub and sam made a sheep. They did really good and gave me some new ideas!

a couple of talks I really enjoyed were brother l. Tom perry and mary n. Cook. Brother perry talked about tv and radio and how easily it can bring moral things in your home, but with a flip of a switch it can also bring immoral things. Never a truer thing, I think tv is slowly adding more and more inapropiate things. Sister cook talked about the importance of being good examples. She talked about teaching our children about purity and we should start now. I think for me personally I need to talk with m kids more about purity and be a lot better example. I get caught up in the day to day and forget my real purpose on this earth. I'm grateful for conference and for it reminding me why I'm here.

I'm not able to sleep, so I thought I would blog some things going on. I currently work fo the town of gilbert teaching many classes. One of my favorite classes is an art group that I teach on mondays. This group happens to be adults with down syndrome. I have always loved to work with special needs, I worked with them years ago when I was a lifeguard. I've always thought that people with special needs have a perfect spirit, they just need to come get a body to finish Heavenly Fathers plan. Whether that's true or not, I don't know, but I have always felt that way. I have to brag about sam for a minute. She is atending neely traditional academy, an acclerated school. This last week she was awarded for reading at the highest reading level, 7th grade. Then she came home todayand is being interviewed friday for being the only 3rd grader to receive 100 % on a project. Yes it's true, she is smarter than her parents! The boys are also doing well, jacob has buckled down and has made big improvements this year. He's very compeitive, so I think with sams success it's challenging him. Noah is slowly learning kindergarten is not just social hour! The weather is slowly starting to cool down, which means bmx season for us will begin again. The kids love to go out there on fri nights, we love the family time. I love reading all your blogs, I may not comment all the time, but just know I frequent them often. Thank you for letting me journal to you for a little bit!

So a few random things, Noah wrecked on Memorial Day. He tried to wheelie his bike up a curb and missed and hit the curb, teeth first. We went to the er and the dentist, our result was he may have to lose four teeth. Thank good ness there baby ones.
I have a stack, a huge stack of pictures, plus 500 more between my two cameras. So, I need some help, do I scrapbook them, or just put them in albums? Please help me!
next, I have to vent a little. Sophie has been a rough one lately, actually a full blown NIGTMARE! She won't let me do anything without her on my hip. I know alot of kids are like this, but she's got it bad! She won't go to dad, if I walk out of the room she goes crazy, ahe won't play, just content to watch me. I know I shouldn't complain, I know I should cherish these years, but either I'm a bad mom or way in over my head! I love you dearly, but Sophie, I need to do laundry and dishes and some peace! ( I really do love her, just had to vent for a moment!)
